Mercy technologists gain advanced level certification
Mercy Radiologic Technologists Lisa Gassert and Lindsay Wood were recently awarded their Advanced Level Certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Earning this certification involves additional study and passing an intense three-hour registry exam to show competency in the area of CT.
All Diagnostic Imaging technologist staff members are required to be certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced Level certifications, however, are not required.
“I am so proud of Lisa and Lindsay for their new accomplishment,” said Anna Koski, Mercy Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor. “Seeking advanced certification really speaks to their commitment to provide top quality care to our patients.”
Mercy now has a total of six technologists with this designation.
