Mercy Hospital invites community members to find out more about hospice at a free educational program.
Hospice 101 will be presented by Dawn French of St. Croix Hospice at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, in the Board Room at Mercy Hospital. During the program, French will talk about what hospice is, describe its benefits, debunk common myths, and answer questions.
French is a Care Transition Coordinator for St. Croix Hospice. Before this role, French was involved in leadership and nursing with experience in business development, long-term care, acute care and home care. French’s formal education includes a degree in organizational behavior with a focus on psychology from The College of St. Scholastica as well as nursing from Lake Superior College.
